Pushing For Productivity, Prayin' For A Miracle
Well, I've made very little progress on Ring of Lies since last week by I did manage some progress on my throat infection. I'm now to the point of not eating and barely managing liquids so hey, there's some progress! I broke down and went to the doctor yesterday and surprise, I don't have strep but my neck, throat, and tongue are swollen and I have a lovely but anonymous infection. I'm popping the antibiotics like clockwork and choking down advil but I have yet to see any improvement, if possible, it's worse.
It's not really like me to whine; I had natural childbirth by choice so pain doesn't get to me, usually. This, however, is awful and on top of it all, I can't get my book done and that deadline is closer and closer. I managed to rewrite chapter 9; scene 1 but that's it and I don't know where to go with it cause my brain is fried and my ear is throbbing.
All complaining aside, I'm going to finish Ring of Lies this week, even if it kills me; which at the moment is a distinct possibility
Goals for the Week (I'm outlining what I have left to do; perhaps it'll motivate me!)
Monday Write blog post and visit blogs I follow
Finish revisions in chapter 9
(police interview then opening night at café)
Tuesday Write blog post and visit blogs I follow
Chapter 10 scene 1
(week has passed, ruminating on everything that's happened; messes up cooking)
Wednesday Write blog post and visit blogs I follow
Chapter 10 scene 2
(historical society then followed home)
Thursday Write blog post and visit blogs I follow
Chapter 11
(back with hero/love scene/decide to work together)
Friday Write blog post and visit blogs I follow
Chapter 12
(Goes to confront villain on own big finale)
Saturday Write blog post and visit blogs I follow
Chapter 13
(Aftermath of finale and ending)
That doesn't look too bad; now if I can just stay alert I can get what I see in my head onto the computer; that's a big if at the moment

Sorry you're hurting, Rach. I'll send some good healing vibes your way. It usually does seem to get worse before it gets better so maybe you're on the mend. You can finish Ring of Lies in time. I have faith in you.
